S2O New York, 2 Day Festival July 25, 26th at Mirage w/ Major Lazer, Dillon Francis, Slander, Malaa, Jauz + more

Following the debut edition of S2O New York last summer, leading event promoter Pulse Events is thrilled to announce S2O New York 2.0, the return of NYC’s Songkran (Thai New Year) celebration at the legendary Brooklyn Mirage. Over the course of two days, the 2025 iteration of S2O will feature star names like Slander, Dillon Francis, Jauz, Nurko, and Rayray on Friday the 25th, followed by Major Lazer, Malaa, William Black, Cash Cash, Bonnie x Clyde and more on Saturday the 26th. Tickets are available now!

Switching it up from the inaugural Labor Day launch last year, the late July dates for S2O New York 2.0 this year have the festival in prime position as the go-to destination for those looking for refreshing relief from NYC’s sweltering summer heat. Combining a world class musical lineup with cutting edge production, the immersive water music festival aka “the world’s wettest party” will once again aim to capture the grandeur and magic of Thailand’s Songkran celebrations, a tradition derived from spraying one another with water for good luck.

The festival concept aims to harness the power of water as an elemental force of joy and unity while transcending cultural boundaries to create unique experiences for attendees worldwide. S2O has become the world’s biggest Songkran/Thai New Year celebration, with events in Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan, and Vietnam. From the shores of Bangkok to the bustling streets of Seoul, S2O has gained recognition for its innovative blend of electronic dance music and spectacular water effects.

With its proven track record of hosting exceptional live events, Pulse Events, lead by CEO Luffy Huang, continues their mission of representing Asian-Americans and AAPI within the international dance music community through their productions, showcased by their two successful editions of Spring Festival: Lunar New Year (which celebrates Chinese New Year) and now, the second edition of S2O New York.

The event producer and promoter’s brand mission is to be a pioneer of culture and media innovation, having previously hosted industry-leading electronic music artists such as Martin Garrix, SLANDER, Afrojack, Gryffin, KSHMR, Kill The Noise, Like Mike, Seven Lions, Vini Vici, Yellow Claw, and producing world tours for South Korean artists such as EXO and Big Bang. Through these endeavors, the brand is introducing American audiences to Asian cultural celebrations through memorable festival productions.

Inspired by operatic grandeur, the newly-renovated and improved Brooklyn Mirage promises to be the perfect return location for S2O New York 2.0, ushering in a new era for live music, art, and immersive nightlife experiences with groundbreaking innovations, including a fully kinetic floor-to-ceiling shutter system that creates a 270-degree virtual environment outfitted with LED screens boasting a combined 30K resolution and 100 million pixels. With the shutters closed, the venue takes on the intimate feel of a theater, but at the touch of a button, the space transforms—revealing an open canvas where artists can craft their own immersive visual world.

This is all complemented by a custom-built L-Acoustics sound system with over 100 precision-calibrated speakers and subwoofers strategically placed throughout the venue, ensuring perfectly balanced sound while delivering an unparalleled sonic experience no matter where guests are in the space. Soaring 65 feet high, the redesign features a monumental timber structure, making it one of the largest sustainable event venues in the USA and a bold alternative to traditional aluminum and steel builds.
