55,000 Festival Fans, Emotional Team Moments and “A Whole Lot of Fireworks”

“You made my day! You guys are the best thing that happened this weekend!” Eko Fresh shouted into the microphone on Saturday night. The two masterminds behind Electrisize, Raphael Meyersieck and Michael Frentzen, would probably agree. On Sunday evening, the 17th edition of Electrisize Festival came to a close with a record-breaking 55,000 festivalgoers in attendance. More than 150 artists provided the soundtrack to three days of full-on festival madness, and the organizers are looking back proudly on this year’s edition. “For me, this was the most beautiful, best and at the same time still the most family oriented Electrisize we’ve ever had,” says Raphael Meyersieck.
