DJ Bambounou from Marseille’s iconic thrift store Merguez Fripe
El Tony Mate’s latest invite-only community event in their Selected Sessions series saw Parisian headliner Bambounou rock Marseille’s (FR) ‘Merguez Fripe’ cult fave second hand thrift store on 7th May. The quirky haunt of those in the know for cool apparel was suddenly packed with lucky invited guests raving to Bambounou’s unique mix of futuristic techno, IDM, tribal… arising from his French-Malian-Polish roots and love of dystopian sci-fi.
